I'm just kinda old for this rodeo. I run the league in my town because no one else really seems interested in doing it. I TD events in town because no one else really seems interested in doing it. I'm an officer in our club because no one else really seems interested in doing it. I've been doing this for years. I've been running events since 1995. I've spent a lot more hours organizing than I have playing, but somebody has to do it. I've actually TDed more PDGA events than I've played in, which wasn't by design. I've done my time, paid my dues.

I don't know TOURNEYPLAYER. Maybe he steps up and volunteers where he lives. Maybe he just enjoys the work other people do and then bitches about how they didn't do enough for him. If it's the latter, fuck him who cares? I give Ray a pass because he does do stuff for the sport. He has earned the right to call me a bitch if that is how he gets his jollies. So far as I'm aware, TOURNEYPLAYER has not and can go fuck himself.

It has been pretty funny watching you bitch about me splitting threads when I have not been doing it. Kinda like how Ray freaked out about me changing a thread title that another mod changed.

I will be willing to reevaluate my stance on him if he can turn in a good year of baseballing. I've had my heart broken too many times by O's players off to a hot start only to come cratering back down to earth around July.

I will say I might be wrong about the Nats not being for real this year. They are sustaining their high level of play pretty well and don't seem to be getting too lucky or anything. The Ankiel throw to the plate the other day was funny. I totally forgot how he freezes runners on a ball hit to center. Little crap like that wins close ballgames, and now that steroids apes are not so front and center little things might matter again.
