I thought about starting a thread before but I figured you (calvarycoffee) would. I'm just surprised you didn't do it before now.

There's no doubt the gators have some serious bragging rights. Back to back basketball championships in the same year as pulling off the most humiliating upsets in sports history a few months ago on the gridiron.

I stayed up til 11:45 to watch history being made last night. It looked to me the game was won from the 3 point arc. Ohio State was pretty dominant in the paint and was tough defensively. However Florida was raining threes on them from everywhere including a few by Humphreys from two zip codes away. When you're exchanging 2 point buckets with a team that's dropping 3 point buckets it's hard to win.
I can't get over Greg Oden is only 18. He looks like he's 35. There's no doubt he and Kevin Durant from Texas will be making a mark in the NBA.

Florida was my preseason pick to win it all. I was pulling for OSU though. Still a nice win. How many of those are seniors?

I think four of the starting five are juniors but they might as well be seniors since they'll likely be in the NBA next year.

I think it will be hard for the gators to contend in basketball next year. All the marquee players are headed for the NBA draft and the coach will probably take the Kentucky job.

i don't think donovan will go anywhere. the 4 juniors - gree, noah, brewer, horford are all roomates. so if 1 goes to the draft, i bet they all go.

i think they all have the same major, also - social and behavior science. I think they will likely stay together and play at florida rather than split for the draft. but, money talks these days.

There are players on that team headed to the NBA, but I'm not so sure about some. Noah's stroke on his jump shot may be an issue, unless you make him a Dennis Rodman type player.
