Editors tend to use the best photograph instead of the best particular golf shot. Last spring, a couple of the most experienced players in the area held a beginner's disc golf seminar (that I learned a lot from). A photographer from the local newspaper took some shots of us throwing. The one that was published was a shot of me throwing a really, really bad drive. I looked like a freakin ballerina, and the nose of the disc was tilted about 45 degrees upward. It was a nicely composed photograph, I still look at it to remember how much my form has improved since then.
