i wouldnt say macs are overpriced but you pay for design. im not computer illiterate and i love macs. for the general public begain able to change system files and any other "in-depth" stuff is not needed. a simpler Os is a much better call. as far as games go macs are not made to play games, they're made for "creativity". making movies/music/photo editing/etc. when i bought my iMac i was pleasedthe Os not only preforms better but is for lack of a better term "prettier". windows is very counter intuitive and OSX flows better and is easy to learn.

to each his own though. i will always reco a mac to anyone looking at new computers. if they decide to go PC i will always tell therm to get linux.

My reasearch into Macs went not much deeper than looking at the price tags. :)
