windows mobile 5.0 question

I have a treo 700wx with windows mobile 5.0. does anyone know a way to view .mpg or .mov files on it?

My main internet is this phone and I would like to download some dg vidoes on here, but have a hard time finding some in .wmv format.

yeah, you need something like vlc player to run them. Just kinda tinkering with my Q. Let me find a good (free) player and get back to you

EDIT - Also, who is your phone through? You might be able to tether your phone to your computer and use it as a modem.

I got alltel. they haven't got the tether for the treos yet. I already asked. soon.

what you want is called CorePlayer (search Google for a link to download it). It used to be called TCPMP (you could try searching for that too). When it was TCPMP it was a free download, but now that they branded it as CorePlayer it's $20, I think. I'd search around and see if anyone still has TCPMP available
