I am a big Cubs fan, but only about 1/4 of the cubs games are shown on tv (a bunch of them are blacked out for some reason). This weekend I was searching around for prices on mlb.tv which allows you to watch nearly all MLB games on your computer for about $40. However, mlb.tv also blacks out most Cubs games in my area. During my search, I found a site that shows most MLB games for free.

The site also shows soccer matches, NFL, NBA, NCAA football, golf, and more all LIVE on your computer!
You will need to download the Sopcast player to get the streams working

I just watched the Cubs vs Pirates game it all worked great (except the cubs lost )


Also for you MMA, Boxing, and WWE fans
Head on over to www.MMA-TV.net for live streaming of ppv events. All you have to do is signup for a free account and you are set to go. If you donate (minimum of $5) you get access to higher quality streams as well as special sections of the site. Donating is optional of course, but it is worth it.
They show all of the UFC stuff, some boxing, and even the WWE ppvs.

Nice. I'm surprised they actually have these kind of sites. I usually just download torrents of what I'm looking for, but this could be helpful for stuff I can't find. There are also programs that record streaming video, so you could actually put these on a dvd if you wanted to.

Are these games free? also can you watch past games?

I, like you, am a born and raised Cubs fan, but we get a lot of rangers and cards games here in oklahoma.

games are completely free and are shown live, however I dont think past games are shown.
