folf frolf?

Postby domromer » Sat Sep 22, 2007 4:59 pm

Have you guys heard disc golf referred to as frolf of folf? I was in Montana last week and asked a local about disc golf courses and he said you mean frolf right? I've never heard it that way. Is that a regional thing?

I'm all about the frolf. it saves me 2 sylabals worth of time over frisbee golf. I don't have that kind of time.

I've heard frolf before. I prefer to say "Discing", but with my Michigan accent it sounds more like "Disken"

hehe, I cringed when I saw that episode. I almost wanted to write the ACLU to complain about negative stereotyping.

I've seen people cross out "Disc Golf" on signs and write "Frolf". Apparently there are some zealous Frolf advocates out there.

I have recently heard the word "Dolf" used out loud... I actually had to pause for a moment to process that one.

Frolf , Folf and now Dolf! My vote for the worst would be Dolf! I had to think about that one for a second too.
