Call of Duty 4? Anyone playing it?

is there a wall you hit when leveling on multiplayer? i just started multi 2 days ago and im at lvl 20 but the last 3 matches i played i didnt go up and i won all 3...

you shouldn't hit a wall. But maybe you didn't contribute too much in those last 3 matches. You get a lot of bonus points if you do well even if your team doesn't.

Go thru the boot camp and other stuff for added Xp.

I didn't hit a wall, but it gets harded to level up as you go along.

Finish the weapons challenges, those get you a lot of XP.

Also play the objective based matches. Most take 15min or so, and will give you a lot more XP than a deathmatch will.

COD4 is simply an amazing game. it blows H3 out of the water- it truly is as good as I expected Halo3 to be right out of the box. H3 needs good maps and they need to fix their matchmaking- I'm sick of playing normal slayed or rocket slayer constantly- it feels like they sold out to the MLG players. it's fun to get some crazy stuff once and a while too.

Lol. Finally someone who feels the exact same way that me and my friends do.
I played halo3 at a friends house tonight for 60 minutes...(the guy that I sold my 360 to), and I showed him how fun it is to play the same 3 maps and same 2 or 3 gametypes over and over and over and over.
That sounds about right, catering to the MLG thing.
F that. COD is everything I was looking for in Halo3, and everything that Halo3 is not. I can't get enough of it

I have red tiger with the m16 and Barrett. The AK and M14 aren't that far off, but I hardly ever play with them. I pretty much use the M16 and Barrett, and the P90 silenced on the right maps.

Im 43, not sure if I'll be goin nuts with it or not. I've pretty much got all the weapons and perks that I need, so it doesn't really matter if I get any higher.
But I'll at least hit some of it up.

I have been playing quite a lot of Halo 3, and so far, it's EXACTLY like Halo 2, only:

- The infamous "map loops" you'd get stuck in on multiplayer Halo 2 are now far more enduring and persistent in Halo 3

- You have a map which almost 100% of players agree is worthless (Snowball)

- You now have this sword "parry" thing which basically gums up the way the sword works...instead of giving one or the other of the players the sword kill, you have to beat them by an even bigger time interval and otherwise you just both hit each other and go "BANG!" and are paralyzed, and then repeat that three or four times until one of you gets luck...in the meanwhile some DB comes out of the blue and gets the jump on you both making all that racket

- The graphics have had some really stupid stroking added to them that make the maps less photorealistic and more like a cartoon

- The rocket lock-on has been disabled, making this weapon a lot less useful than it was before

- User-unfriendly weapons like the laser and the spiker, which have to be more "managed" than used

- Inconsistent grenades

- Longer matchmaking delays

I'm ready to go purchase COD4.
