we went to Cali a few weeks ago -- gas was 3.40 or so in texas when we flew out, and 3.40 in Cali -- turns out the price of gas dropped significantly that day, but we had no clue. got back to texas and it was like 2.70 ... woot?

2.29 is the lowest i've seen around here. the shady places have it cheaper.
