I'm in the same boat as you, paperless. I help with scanning on occasion.....we have a pretty sweet FujiTec, makes it pretty simple. Paperless is way better than searching through boxes of files.
Practice, practice, practice. Especially with players that are better than you. It's one of the only ways to learn new things.

I'm a custodian. my hours are midnight to 8am. i am alone working in the athletic building on the college campus

i must say, this is the most peaceful job i've ever done.

there's a gymnasium in my building. weight room and batting cage across the hall. luckily, i've resisted the urge to practice DG in the gym or batting cage. . . so far.

my job doesn't require much thought, so most of the time i am thinking about playing discgolf. hehe
Do not resist chances. . . and there will be one less thing you cannot do -ACG

My office is "paperless" although pretty much all i do every day is scan and file papers. it may be paperless for everyone else, but not me. I think im gonna quit here soon. i just wasnt made for work in a cubicle. i just applied for a job at Home Depot, so hopefully i can leave this place...

I too am a gopher in the cubicle farm. I work for one of the largest insurance companies (yeah, so we are on your side, like anyone really cares). Basically I sit and process changes to business policies all day long. Very repetitive, very boring. My boss is really hands off though, so that is cool. The pay is decent and the benefits are great. We start with 18 days off, so that has been a nice perk. I hate the whole living in a box feeling, I think that is why I enjoy disc golf so much, it makes you happy to just be outside no matter how you are playing. My cube walls have discraft, innova and ching stickers on them, and I usually have a disc or 2 just sitting around. Discgolfreview is a huge help in keeping me sane during the day. One of the guys I work with actually turned me onto dg, and my wife and I moved closer to my work, which puts me about 10 min away from a great 24 hole course. (Arboretum-Spiker Park in Canton, OH)

"two chicks at the same time, man..."

id have to agree that DG review helps keep me sane during the day, even if it means constantly looking over my shoulder for co workers...

Yeah, I am with you. Some people walk way to quiet. I keep DGR in a tiny little window. I wish we could get rid of those emoticons on the left side of the screen, then I could almost make it look like work.

the trick is to type your responses in your work email (Outlook here) and then copy and paste it into the window

Funny. I hate the song that they parody, but otherwise good stuff.

I need to get a rear view mirror so I know when someone is watching me surf DGR.

After work I'm heading to a course an hour away to practice for a tourney this weekend, so I've got that to look forward to.
