Try it, you'll be suprised.

I consider myself a bit of a "purist". I like my Guinness the way it's supposed to be enjoyed.....straight, black and tans, or half & halfs. That's as far as I go.

I'm the same way with my bourbon. Woodford Reserve straight, ocassionally on the rocs.

Funny thing is, it was completely by accident. :D But at least someone noticed, so i could have a chuckle during this long day at work.

I too like the Summer Ale, and Yuingling, but good luck finding them in mainstream bars/restaurants! :x

Yuengling

It's a damn shame I live 40 minutes from the brewery and went to Penn State...which is a drinking school with a football problem. I enjoy a nice cold Yuengling Lager.....however I'd rather have 25 other beers before I have a Lager. Anyone interested in a sweet beer tour...check em out. http://www.yuengling.com/index.htm

I managed a Old Chicago restaraunt that features 128 beers (140 if you count all the Guiness floats). I am a beer conissuer, maybe an alcaholic. My favorites are St. Pauli girl and Peroni.

Oddly enough I can't stand Heineken.

If you are into belgian strong Ales I reccommend New Hollands Dargons Milk. It is a fall to winter seasonal that will get you drunk (9.5%) and is just delicious.

the old chicagos around her wont hire anyone under 21 (even though you only have to be 18 to serve any alcohol) how did you mangage at such a young age? and I dont think I could remember all the beers Ive had, and my number would be quite low :?

I am great and work very hard, and had prior experience as a manager and they like very much to promote within. I only made 32k a year salary, when I resigned to hourly I started making more than that with all the overtime I had to work. And overtime at this restaraunt meant free beer.

This old chicago is a franchise and will hire 18yr olds. I started on my 21st B-day though.
