If anyone from DFW is interested I'm selling my precious motorcycle. Mention that you're a DGR member and I'll cut you a deal. Its a 1996 Vulcan 1500.

How many miles? and could you post a pic?

What are you asking for it? and Is there anything wrong with it?

The bike has 2166X miles right now, but the engine was rebuilt when I bought it and has less than 4000 miles. Right now I'm browsing the forum on my phone, but I'll put a couple pictures up tomorrow. I'm asking 3,500 for it on craigslist but for a dgr member I'd go down to 3250. There's nothing wrong with the bike. It has some surface rust in spots since I wasnt able to garage it at my new apartments and one front turn signal cover fell off sometime a couple weeks ago.

Here is a link to my facebook page with pictures of the bike. I currently have the black mustang seat on there but I'm including the brown solo seat as well. [/img]

Your link is not working. It says you have to have to log in to see pics.

Sounds like a nice bike. I wish I was in the market for another one.

Yeah, I thought it would just link to my picture page. I'll post some pictures of it just because I love my bike and want to show it off. I'm going to miss it but I'll get another one someday, hopefully not too long away.

She's gone. Now its time to start looking for a new bike. Maybe a triumph bonneville, something fun to drive around town and small enough to get good gas mileage.

I have been looking at the Victory Vision. Looks like a nice bike with a lot of features.

I like the victory vegas, but the vision looks like they didn't like the way all the components looked so they covered them up with plastic bits. I'm more of a function=form=good looks kind of guy.

just add a Batman logo to the gas tank and you're good to go!

A friend of mine bought one of those last year, and I rode it home for her as she didn't have her license yet. She's a very small person....if you're not, I'd recommend something bigger. That thing was tiny. I'm 6'2" and I felt like I was on a suped up moped.

It was really fun to ride, and got ridiculous gas mileage, I have to admit.

The newer Ninja 500's look pretty nice.

I dont need anything bigger because I have an addiction to going fast and dont know how to keep anything under the speed limit. I recieved a speeding / jail visit ticket this January for going 107 in a 65.
