What do you know about the old Innova Griffin?

What's the best way to describe it?

Looking for some discs for my 8 year old son and there is one available on Ebay in the 150 class.

i've never thrown one but know something about it... it was never pdga approved. i believe it was supposed to be an overstable midrange.

the stuff i would recommend:

an innova dx ace at 130g (the EDGE version)
a lightning #3 flyer at 132g
an innova dx xd at ~120g (the EDGE version)
a gateway s sabre at ~120g
an innova sport or thumtrac sport disc (~110g, regular is like a polecat ant he thumtrac is like a birdie)

we have all except the sabres where i work, but the sabres you can get direct from gateway. i believe you can also get wizards down around 110g

The Griffin is an extremly overstable midrange, i doesnt fly very far but its very predictable

There is/was an Edge XD? I think my son might need one of those for Christmas.

we only have 1 122g XD in stock and it is blue.
