I'm a huge Keller Willams fan. One of the most gifted musicians alive today. His understanding of music is incredible. See him live if you have a chance!WOW!

EDIT:Lock-off, what style is DnB? Is it like RnB with dance instead of rythm?

Although I really do enjoy jungle (Ive already let lock off know of my admiration) but I really perfer acoustic rock, folk, and some more agressive rock, progressive rock, and rock... classic rock, rock, rock.... and buckethead ;-)

I'm no blake but I know bass guitar. However my guess is that the button is either a rythm/lead switch or is a Fernandez sustainer.

I love buckethead's work with Les Claypool on Big Eyeball in the Sky. Very very creative.

I've always listened mainly to "indie rock" or "college rock" or whatever those kids are calling it nowadays.

But I listen to a bit of everything. I think I have sold back /given away around 700 CD's, and I currently have around 1,000. Physical CD's, not downloaded stuff.

A tremolo changes the pitch of your note as you "whammy it." What he's doing seems more like altering the volume.

I'm thinking that button looks is a killswitch/power regulator of some kind. It cuts off the power to the amp with the strings still vibrating.

You can do a similar thing the way the way amateur described it. If you have a pickup switch, switch it rapidly back and forth between rhythm and lead. You can then back off the volume on one of the pickups depending on the intensity of the effect.

The button's just easier than toggling a switch real fast, and you also don't break the switch and possibly lose a pickup.

Actually, trememlo is alternating the volume and vibrato is alternating the pitch. Leo Fender is famous for getting those two mixed up and the effects are still being heard today (pun intended).

Yeah, in classic music terms you and tdk are right. Tremolo is when one you pick (or strike) a note rapidly. Which is basically a volume effect similar to what Buckethead is doing.

I was trying to keep it in the technically improper rock arena, but didn't explain myself well. I get around this in real life by just playing with a fixed bridge. :lol:

yea evol intent makes dnb the way it should be. im bout to buyt hat double 12 they put out. that one tune is so gangster with all the old hiphop samples....
