Karma Bites Back!

Postby swel304 » Mon Aug 14, 2006 8:22 am

We finished our second round yesterday and I threw a few drives at the last (practice) hole next to the parking lot. My panther broke way over and went down into the lower level parking lot next to a bunch of kids standing around a car. I saw it land so instead of walking down and back up I went to my car and stopped on my way down the hill. When I pulled up to get it the kids gave me a funny look and jumped quickly in thier car to leave. After looking around for a minutes it was obvious one of them had picked up my disc and left with it. I was pretty mad about it till a few minutes later, driving down the hill, guess whos car was broke down on the side of the road, and guess who didnt stop to help them.

I would've stopped to get my disc back, and then helped them with their car. Seems like a decent trade?

On the other hand, I probably would have flipped and chased the kids.

That is what I write on the back of my discs after my name and phone #,

"Please return for Good Kharma"

That way, its their choice...

That is pretty funny, even better though...Karma Bites Back Hard: "Disc Golf Thieves Remove Radiator Cap While Car is Hot"

I never have understood why people take other's discs. In many cases, they don't even play. So they just take a disk to have it?
