super soft putters

so i was at a tourn last weekend and i was talking with the guys in my group about soft putters. well one of the guys had one of the original proto soft avairs. it was the super soft plasticbut the rim was stiff. it felt great in the hand and the couple of times i threw it.

is there a super soft putter out there that has a stiff rim but its still floppy?

The Softest putter I've ever held was a SuperSoft Wizard. I don't know how old it was, but it felt almost like wax, because of how bendable it was. However, the rim still had some rigidity to it. I found it sitting in the sun, no telling how long it was sitting there.

It was pink....not that that really helps you out, just giving as much information as I know about it.

I found the owner and gave it back, so it's not in my possession any more.

floppy generally = soft in the rim.

sounds like you are more looking for gummy, soft in the flight plate and firm in the rim.

the soft/super soft wizards are some of the few that fit this bill. most that are actually soft have no structural rigidty.
