A buddy's Drive

Postby dgdave » Sun Aug 10, 2008 8:06 am

Here is my friends drive. I've noticed a few things, but why not let the masses help. He tosses about 380-400 pretty consistantly.

his timing is a lot better than it used to be and he's focusing a lot more on the pull now rather than wasting a lot of energy beforehand. didn't see any wrist extension. he could improve his distance a bit there. still, he wasn't throwing that far a year ago, was he?

he could probably shorten his run up. he needed the extra steps before, but i don't think so now. otherwise, lookin' good.

It looked like the disc came out nose up and headed for a stall. It seems he could simplify his run-up a bit and concentrate on a level pull through. Maybe even work on standstills for a while.
