Moraga Disc Golf Video

Postby mattshustack » Mon Aug 25, 2008 1:42 pm

So my friends and I just filmed a bunch of shots at Moraga Disc Golf Course and some shots from a game of "pick a tree" at a local park. There are a few good shots of technique too, so we'd love some critiques. Everyone in the video is on this site too, it's just me, reed, and cachow6. Let us know what you think:

lot of short arming on drives (you guys look athletic enough to get more pull back), and falling putts in atleast 2 situations, you cant walk towards the basket inside 33 feet 3 inches.

That looked like it was fun.

Epilepsy warning after 7:20 a spinning tye dye disc close up.

What Solbo wrote is true for maximum distance. The way you drive is good for controlled distance meaning less than full power drive(a great and accurate way of minimizing blow bys) and approach shots.

For development I do suggest exploring what more reach back and a harder hip twists do for your distance and spin on the disc. Meaning differing flight lines from the ones you're used to.

Its 10 meters, which is 32.8 feet.

Pedantry at its best.

whatever, i round up.

1 meter = 3.3 feet in my eyes.

which is 33' 3.6 "

which i guess would be 33' 4' if i round up i guess

just saying, looked like there were a couple falling putts. that is all.
