worst lie-TOUGH

You will need two drivers, two midrange and two putters. Throw two shots off the tee, play the worst with two shots and play that worst until you put both in the basket on the same lie. It helps with consistency and shot selection and mental toughness on the course.

They sometimes do worst shot doubles around here. Someone comes up with this "new" idea and then after a few events they realize it's a dumb idea because it takes so long to play.

I play worst shot when my fiance comes out to play. She plays best shot, I play worst shot (including having to make BOTH putts for it to count). We've found that my worst shot vs. her best shot makes for a much better game -- and we both get twice the practice.
Flick long and prosper.

I do this training exercise a lot when I play solo, or play a quick 9 hole round at lunch.
It's a good way to train for worse case scenarios and improve your mental game.

I've done this drill and I will say that there is nothing that made me so frustrated initially. After a couple of holes it really started helping me out. I got to play one of those worst shot doubles, there would be lots of swearing I'm guessing.
