I had almost that exact same conversation about the Sportster with my brother-in-law a couple of weeks ago

Found a great looking Blue 2008 Ninja 250R today and gave the owner some money for a down payment. Found insurance for around $656 so it wasn't too bad. Just can't wait to get the bike back home. :)

Yeah man, I REALLY like the look of a sporty with a fat tank and drag bars. Dude, I was only kidding. I've owned a Sportster among a few others, and if you look above, I'm currently riding an '83 Honda. :D So I certainly wouldn't knock another guys bike.

I rode with a friend of mine today, and she has a NEW Ninja 600...it was a little embarrassing...I have to admit. lol

Pics of my 2008 Ninja 250. Don't have it in possession yet, hopefully next week.

Pics aren't best quality because I used my phone.

Thread rez!
I'm seriously debating about biting on a 2003 Honda Shadow cruiser this weekend.
7K miles, TONS of accessories... asking $2500. I think I can prolly talk em down to 2,200 or even 2K cash.
Friend of mine has a shadow and I've been debating on it for a while. Kind of half assed looking on Craigslist lately for some steals and think I might grab this one.

The bike is in AWESOME shape and doesn't even need a tune-up.
