Ew.

The last one was easier to read and easier on the eyes.

But this one allows me to turn off avatars, picturs and signatures. New forum = win!

Is there any way to give us more options on the themes we can use?

We are still in the process of getting everything upgraded. I'm sure once we get it fully operational, we'll give more options.

The old forum automatically removed messages from your inbox when it got full. This one does not by default. I suggest people go to their control panel and set the appropriate settings in the private messages tab to do so, otherwise you'll have to start paying attention to your inbox (and outbox) size ;)

It's weird seeing the Avatar on the right side instead of the left.

Once you add other themes you can change that. The default phpBB theme keeps the avatar on the right, but there are lots of others that revert to the more traditional style.

yay, new software... looking forward to having the option for a different theme though (subsilver2 is fine with me) -- this one is not good at all for people like me who have some degree of colorblindness, as it relies on red as a differentiator. is this also a good opportunity to get a wider selection of smilies?

Oh...wait... This theme isn't that hot for those of us that can see reds and blues either...

There are more options with this forum software, so cool on that.

We do need some new themes though and there are some great ones for phpBB. I am an admin/web master for two forums (one phpBB and the other SimpleMachines software). If you guys need some help just holla. I know it is tedious switching forum software, so those of you pining for new themes be patient.

Subsilver2 has been installed and activated. I defaulted it to be the preferred user setting unless you want proSilver.
