Better luck next time, I've been on this thrift kick lately. I'm always fishing around pawn shops and used book stores- I like to pick up any classics I can find that interest me or have unique covers.
Today I went in and got a 40+ year old copy of
1984(I love distopia themes, think Fahrenheit 451) for a buck(originally priced at 75 cents though

) And a Flawless hard-copy of Leo Tolstoys'
War and Peace for 5 bucks.. It looks pretty daunting but I've heard it is amazing.
Also got my girlfriend a vegetarian cook book for like 3 bucks, all and all a good score.
