Pyramids at Marshall Street set back to stone age...

Postby Hoey » Sat Dec 13, 2008 12:52 pm

With the Ice Storm '08 that just passed, Marshall Street got slammed with I don't know how much Ice over a 24 hour period. I got to the course this morning and was able to take some pictures...

It's insane, I thought there was a course here...

Enjoy!

You can set speed, and if you've been there before, hit the caption button, right next to the share button, you'll need some help deciphering where some pictures were taken.

edit: changed link a little, it did have me install the latest Adobe Flash beore I could watch the slideshow.

That's what a few courses in OK looked like this time last year. One course was close until about a month or two ago because Tulsa had so much damage

Our really bad one was in the winter of 06-07. One of the crappy things about these storms is that the damage to some of the trees is terminal, but it will take a few years before the trees actually die. Five or six years after the storm a bunch of damaged trees will die off and need to be cut down, and you all know what that does to disc golf courses.
