Pictures of your Swirly Discs

I really like swirly discs. I just traded off a SWEET swirly Monarch (hint hint Big Weekend. Take a pic.) Here are some I just picked up

God, I would kill for that Wraith. I'm a big fan of swirly plastic too (that's a severe understatement), but it's rare that I come across discs that I throw in swirly plastic AND have the cash to spare to buy them.

All I have now is the Starfire that's in my trade list, and a white Wraith with splashes of pink swirls in it. I used to have an orange/yellow swirled wraith that looked hot, but it got stolen. I'll get a picture of the Wraith up later.

I still have one of my two swirly discs left...

Sadly I've lost the beautiful blue SL at the top of the picture, but the light blue Shark is still in the bag, and it got me an ace back in october.

is there something special about the plastic blend or are they just part color runs when they change the mix??

I have a couple but this one is my favorite. It's a little hard to see but it's a pink swirl in the center then a light purple on the edges.

is there something special about the plastic blend or are they just part color runs when they change the mix??

I want to say it's when they run a new color in the mold and some residual color is left, this is how the colors settle. Lots of folks really like it so they sell well, but it's not something they can mass produce with any cost value. I could be wrong, but I believe that's what I heard.

They charge a premium for their swirly discs, I would never buy them there. You can easily find them on eBay stores or any of your local retailers if you look. They usually get a few in every batch of discs they order.

There is a store around here that only has like 50 discs at a time but I swear they are all swirly star discs. No idea how they get as many as they do but they are there. I got a sweet gray wraith and a greenish/other color wraith their the other day.

Here is one I have on my photo bucket. I have more but none photographed. I absolutely love it when they do the color change run.
