Should I try and keep on top of my disc with my upperbody while I throw it? It seems like I get a little less power but a much more consistent hyzer when I try to visualize keeping my chest over my disc during the reach back and drive (is this the fold/unfold method?). :?:

On the other hand if I stand straight up I sometimes get a nice flat throw with great distance and other times I torque and have horribly flippy drives.

keeping over the disc isn't all that applicable for all shots.

hyzer flips, hyzers etc. yes.

flat or anhyzer not really.

keeping over it helps get the nose down as well as keep the disc closer to your body.

if you are losing power it sounds like you are trying to spin when bent over forward, rather than unfolding the shoulder which actually gets the arm through faster.
