I'd just go Bold. I've messed with one and its SUHWEET. Super fast and the screen is huge and beautiful.

I'm on Alltel and it got bought out by Verizon, so I may be getting a Storm soon. I just need to go to a Verison store to mess around with one.

I've ran WM 5 and 6 for about 2 years and I like the BB OS much, much more once I figured out I couldn't push the screen.

The mail is a lot more functional and I just like how its set up 100% more. It seems much more logical.

I bet www.crackberry.com would be much more help.

The Storm was rated one of the top 10 tech failures of '08, and it was being returned in DROVES apparently. I had thought I wanted one too.

I tried it out at a Verizon store and didn't like it at all. The way the touch screen worked bothered me. When you touch it, it selects something, but it's not clicked until you press the screen down. I suppose this would help with mis-typing or clicking something, but I didn't like it.

that's idiotic.

i'm on an iphone and really like the interface. plus i freakin fly on the keyboard... type plenty of emails and posts on that sucker. if i had the $$/need i'd also carry a Bold for email/etc -- cuz yes the mail on iphone is a jizoke. but for me the "i" is better... i got a 4-track, drum machine, theremin, and drawing software in my pocket :D

anyway... the apps were the only reason i didn't get the Bold instead.

The battery life issue is the only thing keeping me from getting an iphone. The apps for iphone are retardedly awesome, and being able to use wifi is a huge plus. My boss's gets better signal than my curve and has great battery life for now, but I've had several ipods and the battery life on them dropped off tremendously over time. If they made an iphone with a removable battery that I could switch out with a new one whenever one got low I'd get one, internal batteries suck. I could even get over having to pull my email rather than the blackberry pushing it.

Solty: The curve is by far the best smart phone I've ever had(had treo and then Q before the curve). It even syncs better IMO with microsoft office applications. I keep an extra battery in my briefcase for the curve and I bet I could go a week with both batteries and never have to charge. I've forgotten to pack a charger for a four day conference and been fine with just my back up battery(and I was using my phone the whole time for web access to avoid the stupid 20 dollar a day internet charge at the hotel).
