This beast feels almost exactly like CE and is super grippy. I wish I threw the old molds but this is the only one that I have and dont feel like getting used to a disc that will be hard to replace if I loose it. I might end up puting it up on ebay but i might end up keeping it in a safe spot for later when they are even harder to find.
Looking at that disc again, it's the same plastic the old molds were in, but it's a new mold beast since it's a 2x beast. The 1x beasts were the best!
But that plastic is the perfect grippy, flexible and most consistent.
Not all 2x Beasts are new mold. I had a sweet sweet 2x old mold Beast that I lost last year. I actually got a call about it, but the guy never followed through with returning it

True, it's highly likely that this beast is an old mold because of the plastic it's run in. But the majority of the 2x beasts are new mold.

It is for sure an old mold beast here is a picture of the wing. These old molds remind me of an orc without the notch on the end of the wing.

Dumb fact that kinda fits this thread.
The Mystery flavor in dum dum pops is the sucker made between flavor changes in the molds.

Well, I lost a disc in the field today and as I was looking for it, I found in the hedge a disc I'd lost there 3 months earlier <it was a good 50' farther out than I thought>.

Wow, I can't believe it laid there for 3 months without anyone else stumbling upon it. Around here the disc is gone by the next day if you don't find it.

This wasn't a field at a disc golf course. My old high school is about 6 blocks from where I live and I walk over there and throw field on the weekends. I'd done this yesterday and lost a disc <on a roller of all things> into this hedge. I've been up and down that hedge for literally hours and I decided to go shorter than where I was pretty sure it had gone. This other disc I'd lost on an airshot and I thought it might have cleared the 8' hedge and the 12' chain link and out into the street. After a few sessions of looking for the swirly one, I'd basically given up on it. The solid blue one is still a mystery, though.

One of the prettiest swirly discs I've ever seen was a purple Star Excal I found last week. Man that thing was sweet. Had a number on it, so I was able to drop it at the dude's house on the way home.

Found this thread while I was searching for something, anyone get any new swirly discs lately? Here's a 171 swirly star Monarch, favorite disc in my bag.
