I will be driving thru Charlotte tomarrow I might have enough time to play one course. Which one?

Hornet's Nest or Renny.

Personally I like Hornet's Nest more, but you can't go wrong with either one.

I was doing some research and leaning toward Renaissance, but I will be living in South Carolina for the next 6 mos, so I will be able to check them all out.

Play Renny. Renny Gold is awesome, but if you're short on time, just the regular Renny layout is AWESOME. Make sure to print a MAP for Renny or Hornet's nest before you go -- that will help 100x, since both are a little confusing the first time through, since the Gold overlays some of the regular layout at Renny, and the Charlotte's Web overlays some of the regular layout at Hornet's Nest.

Renny is my first love -- that place is amazing. Also, a lot more elevation change than at Hornet's Nest. I prefer playing with the elevation. Hornet's is too flat for me to prefer it over Renny, even though it does have great design and mix of holes.
