Sweet, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I'm curious to see how they hold up in our 120 degree summers here in Vegas.

I know. I'm getting antsy as well... I've been throwing Wizards since the protos in late 2002. I've tried everything else, but nothing has replaced the Wizards. But I love my Vibram soles, so I'm really looking forward to the comparison.

saw some tires being made on Science channel "How it's Made"
DUDE i bet Vibram has the labs and knobs and buttons to make killer putters.
tire factory: they cut a sample of each raw slab, send it to the lab for quality test, re-run if it fails.
that could make awesome putters. inconsistent injection molding is probably a laughing matter at places like that.
btw new thread... When is Nike going to crush the known world and put a sneeze of its time/resources into disc golf?

time out, where the hell did this Vibram shoe / disc golf marriage come from?
I thought Vibrams were like eco-friendly boots. Now they apparently make disc golf discs?
Someone take me from point A. to B. please.

right about the time they decided to sponsor the Vibram Open they also thought it a good idea to start making some putters evidently, its always nice to see a new DG company, i wonder if we will ever see some Vibram drivers?

I think it's great that they noticed an opportunity to get into this market. Their tee pas are supposed to be pretty nice. Could you imagine Vibram on Vibram?
Also, they are a pretty large corporate name...just what we need. It only makes sense to help them out to develop something that will rival any other putter on the market if not blow it out the water. The putter is the most important disc in my bag. Lets help bring that big name to a forefront in the game. It only helps our sometimes lacking image.

There's also a Vibram plant about 20 minutes from Marshall Street... so there's good local interest too...
I was hesitant about such an overstable putter, but it's not that bad, and I've hit the nail on the head a few times on approaches...
Throw discs, and forget about life for awhile...

They make the sickest tee pads!
It also helps to have an avid disc golfer(Aaron Ala) working for them.
Not a bad day gig Aaron

From the NEFA board...
Aaron Ala wrote: Well they were supposed to be run yesterday, but because of the storm we were only at half capacity in the shop. It gets frustrating for us sometimes, but you have to remember that at least for now, Vibram is still a shoe sole company, so that takes priority.
That being said, unless something bad happens we're hoping to ship them no later than Friday.

Ok, got it. Very cool that a big name company is making the transition to producing some discs. Hopefully they make a serious and fruitful 'stab' at the game. Having their money and R&D/quality control rub off on disc golf manufacturing technology should only help.

Fingers crossed.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.
