Black Prototype soft Wizards 168-175g 1st come 1st serve

I bought a bunch of blank (no hotstamp) prototype wizards awhlie back from Dave McCormack. Rather than put them all on eBay (and pay eBay's fees) I'd like to give discgolfreview's posters first crack at them.

These discs are a fantastic combination of a stiff flight plate and soft grippy plastic. They're like butter in your fingers and of course have that great wizard flight and resistance to wind.

Here's the price breakdown:

1-3 $8.50 ea

4-10 $6.75 ea

15-24 $6.00 ea

25-40 $5.75 ea

Shipping cost dependent upon how many discs you want.
ie. 1 disc shipping would be $2.75
10 discs shipping would be $ 9
20 discs shipping would be $ 15

Any discs not sold by 10/14/06 will likely go on eBay (for a higher price to cover listing and fv fees)

Steve, are these the black, chalky ones? I'd like 5 at 175 if they are.

You going to be at Druid Hill on Sunday?

Okay since I've already been asked this question three times in the past 30 minutes I'll answer it in a post (instead of pm):

Yes, these are the black chalky ones!

Bigs,
I'm undecided about Druid, I'm starting to lean towards playing the Kennet Square Open on sat (forecast sunny) and blowing off Druid on sun (forecast rain).

Just a word to the wise among you wizard loving procrastinators: These are going super fast.

Looks like I've already had 33 of these proto wizards claimed, which leaves only 10 left.

Wow, talk about hotcakes!

I received 16 private messages about the proto wizards in 24 hours.

All 45 proto wizards I had to offer have now been claimed!

Thanks to all those who expressed interest and/or bought them. I'm sure they'll serve you all well.

Great! I'm glad the usps came through!

I'm really sorry I listened to the weatherman. It rained at Kennet and was beautiful at Druid. KSO went til dark and I was too sore to play Sunday.

Just got mine in. WOW
Man these things really are the real deal. I was making 60 foot line drive putts all near my basket in my backyard.
I love how it just holds a line and doesnt seem to stray away.
I also really like how it feels. Got this superhard rim and doesnt bend or fold/flex too much. Ive never had a disc thats so chalky?
It feels really good coming out of my hands... Whats gonna happen to the chalkyness as I play with it more and more, and hows it gonna beat in?

Im just curious as to how its flight characteristics are gonna change as I play more with it. Cuz can already see myself ditching my DX Aviar and Aviar-X for all my putts.

I'm glad you like them.

All the comments I've heard about these is overwhelmingly positive.

I kept three for myself............hmmmm...... maybe I should have kept more.

Fortunately Bigs is the only player from my region I sold to, I'd hate to get my arse handed to me on the course by someone I equiped with the best putter on the planet.

I shot my personal best 52 at McNaughton in Pekin with a 172 Star Starfire a 170 Star TL and the 173 Black proto Wizard. I was hot today with my proto. 30ft in all dropped for me today. I had my longest drive with the Starfire today too. I can't wait to throw again without all the wind.

i went and shot a round today with my new Wizards. After that round, I took my Dx Aviar and Pro-JK Aviar-X out of my bag. THis disc HANDS DOWN whooped the shit out of my other putters. I couldnt beleive how many putts over 30 feet went in. If they didnt go in, they were all hittin chains.

My midrange game has been seeing BIG improvements for the past couple of months, so my putting has been seeing more accurate lines lately. This disc only makes sure my accurate putts make their way dead center of the chains. I still am in awe of how much a single disc can change my game. I wont lie, I cant throw this thing for distance. Damn thing turns over WAYYYY too much..... but under 150 feet it'll be this when I dont wanna pull out my naked Rocs.

If I would of known they would of impressed me this much I would of ordered 5 instead of 3. Ive never been this psyched about a single disc.
