Is it just me or are these proto unstamped 'soft' wizards harder than the old mediums?
I do like the feel and have yet to get a dry day to throw them, but they are really firm in my book.

Start bending it 3-9 to 12-6 and it will start "softening" up....

yeah thats the main difference between softs and mediums in any run, the softs get softer w/ wear or bending, and the medium will be always as firm as the day you bought it.

Aaack! Just a word of warning, the black proto wizards dont like to be bent much. I was just talking to my dad on the phone, bending the disc like was mentioned, and managed to split the plastic on the rim. The crack isnt huge, and the disc is still in one piece, so I can still use it--just sucks to see it happen to my favorite putter!

yeah, mediums or softs? they werent proto wizards but I have cracked two black chalky wizards, both were tree hits after riding the wind and coming down w/ extra speed, one rim cracked, the other was flight plate.
I broke a soft while flexing it completely in half to create nice little thumb grooves I used to like. you definately need to be carful, and dont even bother bending mediums.

Wait, aren't the black chalky ones proto wizards? This was one of the same ones roadkill was selling in this thread--I know there's some sort of "electric plastic brown" protos out there aw well, thought those were just another kind. But anyway, yeah, black chalky soft is what I've got.

I believe there were mulitple runs of the chalkier wizards, Im not sure though.
