Does Anyone Not have a Firebird in their bag,

Postby BrettWare » Mon May 04, 2009 10:57 am

Seriously, the most used disc in my bag,

cant imagine not having like 4+ in my bag.

and then the FL comes to me like a miracle from heaven and i can get rid of 2-3 more molds laying in my bag with less consistency.

In my opinion the best disc innova has made.

I would put with it if i could

predators are better.

I carry a Max. I do, however, have one slot left in my bag, I guess I could try one.

having a champ firebird even just for Overhand get-out-of-trouble shots is a blessing

and predators are great discs, i have two in my bag, but they fail at overhands and my esp pred beat in much faster than any firebird ive ever had

I do, but I think I'm gonna let them go... Max is much like a longer Firebird, just a little shorter on overheads. Since I don't throw much overheads, I think the Firebirds are about to go. I'm gonna keep 'em in my bag for a while, and see if I miss them.

This.

Also the super stable, flat FLX predators go along way overhand.

Quality disc that may be outperformed by newer models, but it is about as consistent as any disc. At several points in my DG career I've taken it out of my bag for a year, only to put it back. When I reach for it I always know what its going to do, even if I haven't touched one for a year. The Max is faster, and if I threw it 10 different times every shot would be a slightly different distance. With the Fbird, same distance every time!
