Last year, Am2 was the division to be in as far as start times. You still have all the recs infront of you so its not all that bad.

also this is sorta my first go around in a tourney. popping the cherry so to speak

if my tee time is 11:08 about what time should i show up. i assume i just need to show up in time to check and be there for the players meeting that is 5 min before my tee time right? not real sure how the event plays out so any advice would be helpful

Show up at least 30 mins before your tee time.
The more I throw, the easier it gets-

my personal routine is to show up about 30 minutes before the players meeting (tee time), this allows for check in, socializing and about 15 minutes of putting practice. I really like the opportunity to throw a few putts to get some confidence (however if you don't ever do this before a casual round, it may be a bad idea). Either way for this tourny, 30 mins is a good idea to find parking, get checked in, and not be rushed.

Coming back to Austin for a 4 day weekend starting Friday - Monday. I'm trying to get up there early Friday afternoon so I can get a round in somewhere then.
If anyone is interested in hittin up somewhere lemme know. I'm not too sure of my free time because my friend is plannin to take me and my gf all over the place to check out all sorts of stuff. I already got Disc golf junkie's number and I've played with him last year.
Or if anyone is interested in giving me some plastic to dye to get mailed back to em later, just holla
