Discs on Ebay

Postby Glock23 » Sun Nov 05, 2006 5:43 pm

I just finished putting some of my more rare discs on ebay. There is some nice 4x 9x and 10x pro, CE Valks and some other rare things. You can check them out here: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZgabenashQQhtZ-1 Any questions let me know. I need to raise some cash, so these have to go.

Updated with new shipping info. 1/2 price for DGR members. $2 for the first disc, $1 each extra.

On a side note. Does anyone know how to tell a first run CE Valk from a later run? I am pretty clueless about the CE runs. Thanks for the help!

A large majority of first run CE Valkyries were Blood Red and opaque, same color as this Image.

A few were made in a blue color, that are refered to as 'blueberry'. I think there may be a very very limited run (1-10 discs) made in other colors for first run, but most likely they're on the walls/ in the closets of dave and his friend's houses.

Weebl is right. If it isn't opaque red, it probably isn't a first run. Most I've seen also have the rainbow hot stamp.

I loooove 4x JK Valkyries. I've been collecting a couple here and there because they're not yet selling for the insane prices that CE discs go for. I might bid on one of those 4x.
DX Teebird - Star Teebird - Pro Wraith - 4X JK Pro Valkyrie - 150g ESP Flick - DGA Tsunami
1st Run Star Cro - 5 bar stamp DX Rocs - 2004 Champ Roc

Both of the 4x Valks are really nice. The color of the red one is sweet, and looks a lot better than the picture.

I am hoping the discs start to get some bids, they are staying much lower than I would like.

I was working in a local retailer when the CE stuff came out. We were at the time a top 20 distributor with Innova and we were only allowed to order 25 CE discs in each mold from the first run. We got the Valks in and every one of the first runs were Blue light blue. I called Innova and they told me at the time all of the first run valks were blue and the second and subsuquent runs were going to be mostly red.

This comes up on Ebay a lot and the deal really is if it is not trans Blue it is not a first run CE valk. it may be an early run but not the true FIRST RUN.

On a side note the blue ones sucked for throwing the lime chartruse ones were the best
IMHO

Tell you what guys, if anyone from DGR wins an auction, I will cut the shipping in half. $2 shipping for the first disc, and $1 for each extra.
