Just a suggestion about hyperlinks on the forum...

Make them open in a new tab yo.

This is the only forum I frequent that doesn't do that and I am constantly Xing out the tab and having to hunt down the thread I was lurking.

I may only have one button, but i can do more with just a keyboard than you could dream. besides... i can also set firefox to automaticaly open hyperlinks in a new tab. I think if they tried to incorporate it into the forum you might have issues with browsers accepting it.

two things to let you customize how to control tab and links opening in FF:

1) tab mixer plus addon

2) a little more complicated but you can modify the FF config file. Here is the best description of what you need to do that I could find. This takes a little bit of playing with and shouldn't be done unless you know what you're doing b/c you can break FF

Open about:config (write it in address bar)and set the following prefs:

* browser.link.open_external set to 3 (should already be)
* browser.link.open_newwindow to 3
* browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction to 0 (zero)


All preferences that begin with browser.tabs.opentabfor which should be set to true (if you've upgraded from Firefox 2.x or 1.x, there should be several instances).

Thats like saying "I only have to refuel my compact car twice a week, what should I do?.... Buy an Escalade with 22's fool."

And a finer point... all macs are now capable of using a two button mouse style for those incapable of accepting change.
