Michigan is easily a top 5 disc state, but gets no love due to snow.

Top 5 in number of PDGA members but not in number of courses, at least yet.

You mean to tell me there are 5 or more states with more courses than Michigan? I can get to 40 within 2 1/2 hours of driving, and there're plenty more if I want to drive some more...
I threw Wizards before they were cool.

Especially since it looks like Michigan is third in number of PDGA members. Probably more crowded courses in MI than IL, WI, IA and MN.

its a game of mistakes. whoever can make the least amount of mistakes wins.

We had well over 150 people last night at our Monday night league (Motor City Chain Gang).
on an 18 hole course, no less!
Courses here can get pretty crowded, though other than that league, it's mostly the casuals that clog them up...

I did not really mean total amount of courses but it looks like MI is 7th there so boom to that. I was more refeering to the large amount of top quality courses, above average players, strong local clubs, and good tourny scene. Having Discraft HQ'd in metro Detroit doesn't hurt either.
The Ann Arbor area is fast becoming one of top area's for disc anywhere in the country.
