Best Courses in St Louis area

Going up to St Louis for a couple days, dg course finder found a ton of courses up there.

I probably only have time for 2 or 3 courses, what would anybody recommend?

SIUOX PASSAGE! awesome course, a little on the longer side but really fun.

After playing Sioux Passage head north across the river into Alton, IL (about 20 minute drive) and play Rock Spring park.

Did they get Rocksprings cleaned up? I was talking to a buddy about going up there, but he said there were trees from a storm down all over that nothing was being done about and the grass was up to your knees. That was a few weeks ago, though.

i'm going back to St Louis Aug 13th, for sure going to play Siuox Passage and Jefferson. Maybe i'll check out Rocksprings since i've seen it hyped on here before.

It was clean the last time I was there, which was about 2 weeks ago. Grass might be taller since then.

leaving thursday for st louis again, already played sioux passage, endicott, quail ridge, joseph miller, and albert oakland. For sure playing sioux passage again and jefferson barracks. Also have indian hills and el shaddai ranch on the list...... any comments on those two?

El Shitty is a private Christian camp. You have to call and get the OK to play. It's marked horribly and really hard to find your way around without a guide. It's also pretty easy...and it's in the middle of BFE. Unless you have a need to play every course in Missouri, it's a skip.

Indian Hills is OK. Nothing great, nothing to bitch about. Just an OK course. There is a new course in Fulton in Veterans Park. If you head out to Columbia you can check it out and tell me how it is.

thx for the heads up on shaddai, i'll probaly pass on it. My girls mother lives in fulton so for sure gonna hit it. I'll let you know.
