The iphone MMS issue is just about killin me. SOMETIMES the filthy photos I've been promised arrive as http links, other times they will never arrive in any form, which can pretty much ruin my day. No good having to view the pics off of her phone when she's right there.

Just so y'all share my frustration... DiscJunkies porno MMS aaaalways reach me, and they do always contain boobage. But when my dirty lady snaps pics of say, her naked wearing my tourny rig and spanking herself with a Champ Max... no, not gonna arrive. "it's send your bros some hoes day"... iPhone is all over that one. Seems like her being ON AT&T it would fuggin work!! Aaargh

... Supposedly AT&T will have the network capable of handling us dorks soon and the next OS update will unhide the MMS features.

You may also need to resend your service books. Call alltel store and see if the mms is locked down. When do you switch over to verizon?

I have the Treo Pro with Sprint and I believe it's a very good phone.

I do want the Iphone though. I just can't see spending double the monthly bill for it to get the same thing I'm getting now.

Love my Ipod touch!! I carry it with me disc golfing for my score card. Use it everyday at work. surf the web while i'm taking a Sh**. it has all sorts of uses

Well, guess I have to call customer service instead since both of our Alltel stores closed. I know they merged with Verizon, but with the commercials still going for Alltel, aren't they still in business?

I have a Blackberry Pearl from Alltel and I've had it for almost a year now. Why can't I send or recieve picture/video messages anymore. My cheap flip phone I had before could do it. You would think this thing can do it, do I have to set it up or what?

My Sister had the same problem with sms and mms with her Pearl from T-mobile. It is a setting you need to change, I'll find out and post later.

ok never thought i would be in this thread i have had the same phone for like 4 years (yeah im commited to not changing) But my carrier sucks balls and want to get a new one. HEre are my choices as i dont really wanna drop to much change on this new phone.

I've had a Curve for getting close to 2 years and have had only a couple minor problems with it. Never had to get a new one or have repairs on it. I do 95% of my internet on it. I haven't used an iphone more than just an in-store demo. I missed having a keyboard. There aren't as many apps for Curves, so it really depends on what you're using it for. I use mine for a LOT of my work (excel, word, ppt, pdf, etc).

I have used both as work phones that I have to carry 24/7.

The iPhone has a better web experience due to a larger screen and a better ability to load a webpage in it's native format. App store is awesome. The touch keyboard is easy to adjust to if you give yourself enough time. In fact due to the larger keyboard when held in landscape mode I can type much faster now that I am accustomed to it. That being said the battery life is shitty so if you get stuck somewhere for an hour and spend that time web browsing and playing games you will be looking for a charger.

Blackberry's in general are solid. They are pretty good at the web and with their own app store they are catching up to iPhone's though I doubt it will ever be "just as good". Battery life is much better on a BB and for business type work I feel that you can work faster. It was easier for me to view contact info, create calender events and interface with Outlook/Exchange in general.

At the end of the day I stayed with the iPhone because I prefer the touchscreen and felt that it has a better web experience. In general at work I would say the smartphone users are probably 50/50 iPhone/BB. IMHO the BB leans a bit more towards functionality and the iPhone a bit more towards fun/toy.

one of my best friends has the tour and he said its the curve......on steroids. Uber fast.....and slick. And of course the good stuff that the curve offered
