What ever happened to Scott Stokely?

Postby erb » Wed Aug 12, 2009 9:08 am

I have not heard about him in years. I would assume he would be playing masters by now. He still has his web site up. Anyone got any info?

His back and elbow are very injured. He's a blast. I've played with him 2 times and went to his old clinics. Amazing person. He is what the sport needs.

I heard he's working in the porn industry now.

At least I guess that is him.

Not much additional info in those threads, I was just reminded of them by your question.

My intel says he is producing porn in Colorado.

This fact adds new dimensions of enjoyment to his vids, they are like the least sexy cablecores ever. 3 DVDs of plot, and no action!!

He lives in my city, right next to a 9-hole disc golf course, although I never see him playing. I have climbed on his roof to retrieve errant shots many times.

Apparently he played for the first time in 5 years over the weekend in Colorado. A local kid from here played in the tourney as well and was lucky enough to play the first round with him. Managed to come in a stroke behind him for the tourney too. 8)

Yeah he was at CO States, caddying for Randy Lahm in the Final 9, he stuck around for the AM awards which I thought was pretty cool, considering he had already received his check.

I talked to that kid from Canada after the final round, he couldn't have been more than 17? Always love having people come in and play CO from out of state.

I think he might be 18. Just graduated from High School. I've known him for years now and he could out drive me when he was 14. :x He's a good player though and I'm sure will keep getting better. He's back home now after a pretty nice run of DG events... Japan Open, AM worlds and the last week in CO. Lucky bastard.
