Trotter, I have been waiting forever for you to type us some more sponsors. Shoot Madison Wisconsin is only 5 hrs away and they should want to come south to the warm weather. Would really appreciate disc golfers post on their local club websites? Any Wisconsin boys out there?

yeah Im from wisconsin and i'm working on tellin every one I know in central wisconsin about it...I'm pretty sure theres going to be some of us there

It is official...

We have secured a $50.00 per room nightly rate at the Title Sponsor Hotel -- Microtel... when we get the pre-registration page online - instructions will be given on how to get the room rate for the event.

Also, one room Friday night and one room Saturday night will be comp't on the private AMEX card of the VP of Marketing for Microtel -- who will be attending the event, so you can thank him personally...

I know I will be...

Things are firming up...

We have DGA baskets and Gorilla Boy Disc Bags for prizes... Microtel is giving us a $50.00 per night room rate...

Innova gave us a traveling basket and some tour bags for prizes too...

The Rip Shack will be doing the chili and we will have 50 wizards available as prizes for the knock-out games.

Visit www.discgolfclub.org to book you your at a great rate for the MPPP. The nights you stay at the host hotel you have a chance to get your room comped. Plus many players are planning to have some great putting contest at the Indoor putting facility, go back to the hotel to shower and go out on the town.

There will be a conference room available to the Disc Golfers both nights Friday and Saturday - Maybe a couple of poker games - I would guess....

I'll try and get as much of the registration stuff out of the Way on Friday night - if the Hotel gets used...

Preregistration will begin at 8:15am officially and the Doubles Tourney begins at 10:00am

We tried out the facilities tonight and Both Tree and Smurphy hit putts from 90+ feet.

We did some mock Bracket rounds - SouthPaw beet Smurphy in 28 seconds and then Round TWO took almost 5 minutes.

Some CRAZY Long Putts!!!

We took some pics for the DiscGolfTV.com ad so that ad should be up and running pretty soon.

Peoria Frisbee Club has been generous enough to loan us an additional 4 portable baskets so we will have plenty for the event.

Best news of all? - the building we are in has a pop machine that still only charges 50 cents - That's worth the drive all by itself...
