To those of you who like The Mars Volta, you should check out the band they came from, At The Drive In. Those guys were sick. When they broke up they spawned TMV and Sparta, another great band.

I was exposed to ATDI my freshman year of college when my roomate let me listen to Relationship of Command. Definitely a fantastic album.

No prob. House of Secrets never did much for me, I should probably revisit it though. Ascension has some good tracks. Sevas Tra > both. *drops 2 cents*

Today has been all about Protest the Hero and August Burns Red.

Love both of these bands. Protest is truly special, nothing else like them.
