New dye! buddy is a huge Seahawks fan... and his birthday is manana (first time dyeing JK pro, scrubbed her down real good, so surprised about the splotches... meh, its OK) She's an aviar btw
hyzer: here's the step by step. For Colored stamps: 1: Fold up paper towel, apply acetone to it (I uncap the acetone, put the towel in place of the cap, turn upside down for a second, flip back) 2: Dab wet part of towel on stamp. 3: repeat until color comes off (likely will need to re-wet towel once or twice) (note: dabbing is most important on star plastic, less so on opaque stuff) 4: Once the color is gone, no need to keep dabbing, go ahead and scrub with the wet towel until stamp is gone 5: Rinse off the now stamp-free disc with some tap water
For silver or gold stamps, there's no dye on top of the stamp, so no need to worry about it bleeding (dabbing is performed so that the dye comes off into the towel instead of smearing into the plastic and setting more or less indelibly) (final note: colored metallic still require dabbing much of the time)
As a last resort, scritchy side of a sponge + some acetone will help with the really stubborn stamps
He's Back! Here's the first experiment with dryer dies (soap, water, acetone, rit, let sit for half an hour) (Acetone bled through some of the vinyl, hence the lack of acetone in the second 'dry' try) Neko-chan! (Star Leopard)
Second try... no acetone, dish soap + rit + Freddies brand diet lemon lime soda Spread over the top of the disc, nuked for 10 seconds, left to sit for 2 hours, nuked for 15 more seconds, rinse Star Boss
