So I am working on my forehand, trying to increase it's distance and accuracy and have revamped my bag a little help encourage me to throw more flicks. I've taken out my understable drivers and have put in some wider rimmed drivers. The main discs I flick right now are the Z pred, star wraith, the CE EX and the Glow EL. I just added the ESP force and haven't really figured it out yet but I really like it.

The Gator is in there as my forehand mid.

FLX Pred - 170
Z Pred - 173

Z Force - 173
Star Wraith - 169 (Very domey and freak stable)
QOLF - 171

CE EX - 174
Champ Glo EL - 175
CE EX - 174 - super beat

Champ Gator

DX roc
DX roc

Z comet
X comet

some wizards.

I welcome all feedback from all but really want to hear from people who flick a lot.

Distance Star boss is my farthest.. 400 range
i throw a worn 170 for distance
167 for my hyzer line.

Pro Destroyer Close to the boss but more S..

Champ firebird shorter hyzer lines

Surge SS for annys

striker

buzzz i use for short straight approaches

I use to carry a force for headwinds, but recently ive just been using the boss in moderate and if its a strong headwind tossing my firebird

Right now I can get 330' with the QOLF hyzer flipped or 350' with the wraith on a big S.

I tried the boss for a while but can't get a comfortable grip on it forehand. I do have a domey Champ Destroyer I am probably going to try out if the force doesn't work for me.

I have been flipping bosses(fr) lately with my forehand, so i have been using a domey df boss and a star xcal that is getting my big s shot replacement. I am also about to try out a 171 echo star xcal i just got from utopia. (thanks brad).

Also if you want a straight mid flick try a ce warrior i use max weight. Snap it level and it will go 250 for me deadnuts straight. Little hyzer and it will fight the urge to flatten and hyzer out at the end.

Some discs are too domey or have too low of a cruising speed for a good forehand (ie Comet, although I could flick the Z), but besides that I wouldn't take out your understable plastic. Its not that different than backhand and throwing all overstable stuff with anhyzer is not really the baseline form that you want to teach yourself (you'll learn to just power through an OATy release and struggle with touch and in wind). I love popping Orcs smooth and flat from slight hyzer and watching them cruise straight. I also love flicking the Stalker and I even used to have great success with Sidewinders, SOLS, and even XLs/QJs.

Most of my flicks actually are hyzerflips because the courses I learned on were very narrow. I flick the QOLF, EX and EL with hyzer and let them pop up. The wraith and beat Z pred I usually flick flat but do throw them with anhyzer some times. The force is really the only disc I flick anhyzer most of the time. That is really the shot I would like to work on the most because I don't want to OAT it but I would like to be able to throw a big S for distance.

I took out the understable plastic for now to keep myself from falling back on the turnover shot which is the shot I prefer over the flick.

I should say that while I do hyzerflip most of my flicks I do feel I am not getting my full potential out of those throws which is another reason I am forcing myself to flick more.

I am also trying to keep only discs I can also back hand in the bag. The Force has replaced my newer Z pred and the wraith replaced my newer SOLF. The EL took the place of the very beat EX that I used for turnovers.

Pro Destroyer, will beat in nice and get lots of glide.

Surge SS has a fat rim almost like a Boss, so if that's a problem you should avoid it.

So I'm playing my last tourney of the year this weekend and this is what I'm going into with:

Putters.

170 M wizard - putting
168 SS wizard - jump putting, my old putting putter I fall back on
171 S wizard - old, turn over shots
172 Proto wizard - beat to dead straight, main driving wizard.
174 S wizard - new, hyzers and head wind driving putter

Mids:

180 beat KC roc - turn overs
180 DX roc - beat in to perfect, will hold any line I put it on
180 Star roc - old but still kinda stable, can be used for straight shots or gentle S curves
180 Star roc - still newish, hyzers and forehands

177 Z comet - used for all the shots a comet is best at

Drivers:

173 beat 10x KC eagle - turn overs, sky rollers, etc
174 Glo Champ EL - freak stable EL, great for flicks and tight S curves.
174 CE EX - A little beat, main driver and main overhand disc

171 SOLF - beat, distance driver
173 SOLF - newer, probably don't need this but trying to beat it in.

174 PD - headwind driver and great forehand disc

169 Star Wraith - main forehand disc, great for extended hyzers and flair shots

174 Z pred - workhorse wind disc.

My buddy was rocking the ESP Venom today. It had a little more high speed turn than my ESP Force and was a bit slower.

I've had a few for a while now and never giving them a real proper audition. I figure this is a good time to. It is going to be hard for it to do better than the force.

My friend (Brian Johnson, 990+ ) likes them because the rim is easier to grip than the wider stuff. He throws a bit farther than me all things equal, but I was out driving him slightly with the Force. The Venom held a bit tighter line, slightly turning and then just fading out. The Force never turned and had a bit more of a gliding fade. We threw them almost exactly the same a couple of times and they ended up in line with each other with the Force 10-20' farther. I looked like I was trying harder though...
