I have an S DD in the bag giving it a chance in the wind. I'm looking for a replacement for my *Firebird. I've got a trident on the way. I just picked up a slightly used zero Spike that I'm excited to toss, probably don't need anything less stable than the pures though.

yes you could possibly replace a QJLS with a max weight Champ Leo but i think other people will argue that the JLS is more versatile overall than the Leo. Have you thought about an X or ESP XL?

and rather than going from the Shark to the Core have you considered the Buzzz or the Comet? the Buzzz and Comet are more readily available here in the US.

have you considered either an Opto Striker or a Z Stalker?

aside from that it's a really clean simple bag.

I've thought about the striker, but right now, the leopard is a hard turner and the qjls is everything else I need for a fairway driver.
As far as mids go, I think I'm done with the shark, it just feels so funny coming out of hand that I can't get a consistent release. I'm not a roc lover either. I'm working a cro and spider tomorrow just to see if either will work into a slot. I like millennium and innova cause I feel familiar with their molds and plastic.

If I were to get a couple buzzz's and I wanted one for stable/windier shots and one for turnovers, what would you suggest I get?

Removed shark and returned to an old favorite, spider. I'm kinda lost on mids right now. maybe I am going to have to move away from innova??

If I were to get a couple buzzz's and I wanted one for stable/windier shots and one for turnovers, what would you suggest I get?

Get a max weight production Z Buzzz. Opaques are nice...Find one that is flat on top, but has a somewhat high shoulder if you can. These are the most stable. Totally flat ones are straight, domey ones fly on more of an S being less HSS and more LSS.

OK, so if I'm gonna go with the comet, should I get a few x's and work them into a rotation? Or is it better to go premium? Also, are they so 'versatile'(touchy) that I'll still need a windy day solution?
I'm worried about learning the Discraft game. Seems like more variables involved in picking out the 'right' disc as far as color, plastic and mold variations go. I'm intimidated for sure.

Rocs have become my answer to the mid range question. I still need a stable control fairway, although, I don't know that there is enough of a distance gap between my OLFs and Rocs. I'm throwing 300 very consistently maxing out at 350. What are you opinions????

Get a Core

Stay away from the Striker right now and get a good JLS for your control drives. I love the striker to death but lets just say the Honeymooon's over...

I gave the striker a shot, it wasn't really what I was looking for. It was faster than a fairway driver IMO at least for my power range. It was long and really straight, but hard to find with a lack of mold consistency. JLS' seem to be the best choice for the speed I'm looking for. I guess I can keep the leopard until it beats in then just get a new jls and ditch the leopard?

I have the exact same distance range as you, and I use the Crystal Z Buzzz/Z Stalker combo for most fairway duty. Champion Panther fills my mid-range turn-over slot. I've been experimenting with the Striker for a somewhat over-stable stable mid (it flies over-stable when throw under 250 ft power). However, I think I'm going to pick up a Banshee again, since it seems like a good complement to the Stalker.

I'd say avoid the Z Comet. If you want premium plastic, go with ESP.

Well, tossed my z comet 177 today, it's definitely sensitive. I like that it'll hold the turn to the ground, it's just touchy. Not as much glide as I was expecting. Prob. cause it's heavier but still. Kind of a let down.
Buzzz won't be seeing my bag unless I have a meltdown with the rocs. I really want to throw a stalker and check it out. Seems like what I'm looking for for a fairway driver. Also, it's almost always a good sign when you can't find one in the trade emporium to save your life.
