The battery life is much better than I expected. I've been going non stop to try it out this morning. 5 hours in and 40% battery left. The lag on the keyboard is the only thing bothering me so far.

Well, I went through 3 storms in 3 weeks so I traded it in for the Tour. It nice. I wish the storm2 was out, but I'm sure I'm gonna be happy with my tour.

I just got the tour last week and have been loving it. My only gripe so far is the battery. I was told 2-3 days easy... I charge it overnight, use it fairly lightly during the day and by 10:00PM the thing is flashing low battary.

I gave it its full charge overnight and I've used it pretty damn heavy today for about the last 5 hours and I'm at 60%. Much better than my Curve and storm. I love how fast it is. Its got so much app memory. I love that part.

I finally jailbroke --- sweeeet! Mainly skinning stuff and system mods. I have a sweet basket start screen  ... most useful thing is locking apps, also the better SMS app in bitesms.

Ordered a Droid today...I'll let you know how it works out. 73 bucks for unlimited data, texting, and 1000 minutes peak. Hope it lives up to it's hype.

I have a friend who just got the Motorola Droid, and I was playing with it a little yesterday. Feels like a solid phone in the hand. Not as ergonomic as an iPhone though. I would say that the OS resembles Windows Mobile more than iPhone OSX. I'll let you know more as I get familiar with it.

I've had my Sprint HTC Hero for a month now and I love it. It's my first true smartphone and it's geek-tastic. Yes, the battery life could be better, and yes, Android 1.5 does leave a bit to be desired, but if you like to customize and fiddle with your gadgets Android is where it's at. Plus, they've just figured out how to root it and the first custom ROM has been released, so the gloves are really off now! :D

EDIT: Just figured out how to take a screenshot. This is my main Home Screen:

I want the Motorola for the screen real estate and design mostly...I doubt she cares which she gets.
