Been wanting to try this, but no one to really play with.

I tried this out with some friends, last few sessions have been 3 people or league dubs, so during the 3 person pub rounds, we played modifying it a bit for the extra person. Start with a set number of discs usually 3 or 5. Lose the hole, lose a disc. Win a hole, take a disc from an opponent or take one of yours back. Where it gets tricky is when you end up with 3 different scores, or 2 people tie for the best score and there is one loser. Former happens less, but it does happen. Weve been doing outright winner takes from both, or gets a disc back. If 2 tie and 1 lose, they agree on whether they want a disc back or take from the loser. We are experimenting with the following in case there are 3 different scores. Winner chooses, get a disc, or take from 2nd place, then 2nd has same option, take a disc back, or take from 3rd place(can be the disc player 1 just took). Needs work i know, but its fun either way.

Anyway, I wound up rolling with:

2 Avairs (DX ching, and Champion)
z Buzzz
Star TL
Champion Orc

I rolled with a Medium Voodoo, a star Cro, trashed dx Roc, Star TL, and Champ Orc.

I learned a valuable lesson though: If I find myself playing a winter round with only one putter, make sure it is not a dinner plate. That M Voodoo rolls away from the basket like nobody's business!

Oh, and bring more Rocs, people like to take them away from you as fast as they can - lol

Ok, so I got kinda whopped last night - only took 9 holes.

I rolled with:
2 Champ Orcs
2 dx Rocs
1 soft Warlock

I almost went with two Teebirds instead of two Orcs, but I am not sure it would have made a difference.

Lesson learned this time? Don't forget to notice how windy it is before you pick your discs next time dummy! Also, I have not used that Warlock in forever, and while I was comfortable driving with it, I never got a feel for putting with it.

Ok, so this is on for tonight again. I pulled a quick bag together this morning without putting much thought into it. I will adjust as needed later based on which hole I start on and how windy it is. My current setup looks like this:

We'll see, but that should do the trick for me.
