Has anyone besides me worn the flashing off of their Ion yet? I was talking to dgdave about this last night and was wondering what others experience with it was.

I removed the flashing from one of mine, and it made a difference in stability even on short putts. Dead nuts straight, and almost no blow throughs or spit outs, even on a Discatcher Sport. Amazing putter. I like it for touch upshots too. Having a flashed one and an unflashed one in the bag is kinda handy. Should get some rounds in with them this weekend. The flight plate is grippy beyond what I expected, even in below freezing weather. For comparisons sake, an unflashed 166 Ion is similar to a seasoned Omega SS at about 172 or so. The flashed one is more like a SS at 175, again, seasoned not new.

I got to feel some of the first runs that came into our local store a couple days ago. Seemed pretty Voodoo inspired to me. They looked and felt very professional. You guys are doing well.

Yes, most of this run has a black overmold.

I would definitely like to see some pics of the other colors! So far I'm loving my ION, but will be getting a heavier one in a different color. So let's see em!

Heya! We finally ran our second run!

I am at school now 10 hours away from the operation, so my info is a little limited for the time being. BCR, my brother, is now how I am being sent samples to look at of our new runs, info on how the runs go, etc. We I believe ran approximately 400 of each color, and the same flexibility as our first runs.

I am having BCR take a picture of all the colors available asap!

Any chance you'll ever get some of these to primediscs to sell? I have a $100 gift cert to there and would love to spend some of that on these.

I had a look at all the colors. The yellow look pacman yellow, the blue look the same as the pictures here, the green look like light (but not lime) green, the orange are light and look peach in color, and the red are light and look like orange in color. I will do my best to get pictures posted on here.

The first run was about 160 discs. The second run was about the same, but we will be running more throughout next week.

Although I said 171-172, they actually mostly turned out to be 172-173. We'll see what we can do to get them to max weight.

I have contacted prime discs and sent them a sample. They have not got back with me.

how would you say they fly stability wise? can you compare the flight to other discs for approaches and putts plz
