Weight back is fine because for this throw one needs to throw up (barf) in about 30-35 degree angle. That's why the left knee not straightening out isn't as bad as with a low line drive. What ain't that helpful is picking up the left leg too early.

X step placement is very funky though and robbing leg and hip power but if one has the arm one can reach that hole in that wind. As an approach shot with eyes on the target all the time that isn't so dangerous but as a regular throw -ugh.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

I'm really happy that Linus Astrom is in the Day2 videos. He's got amazing technique... I thought Nate Doss' eagle on 8 from a previous video was impressive, but Linus completely and utterly dominated that hole in the Day2 Pt2 video.

Not to mention the rocket for an arm Linus has on top of technique.

Finnish television station TV2 sends the Finnish Broadcasting corporation edited and partially filmed (they had the material lcgm8, mafa and I filmed as well) compilation of The President's Cup and The European Open 2009 on January 24th 10.30 Finnish time. I don't know if the footage ends up in the TV station's net page. Which is at http://areena.yle.fi/ If the program will be on the net I'll post a link.

Unfortunately the EO footage of TV2 of Finland allows webcast to be watched in Finland. At http://www.yle.fi follow the link under areena and urheilu.

I think you meant http://www.yle.fi :-) Here's a direct link to the EO video http://areena.yle.fi/video/702683 but as said, you might need to work some proxy magic if you want to watch it outside of Finland.

Thanks for the correction. Maybe somebody puts it to Youtube? If so that'd be nice. I haven't checked because I saw on TV.

I have no problem watching it, but that may just be because my (large) company is represented in Finland and the proxy is allowed for that reason.

Damn, that is nice produced :-)

If any Finns can find a way to rip this and put it on youtube/vimeo or the like, that would be hugely appreciated. I've tried using several proxies to view this, with no success so far.

Here are two first videos from the next event President's Cup 2009. This competition is disc golf equivalent of the Ryder Cup pitting teams from Europe and the US against each other.

Unfortunately release of next videos, editing of Tali Open DVD speech and future projects has suffered a major blow today. Juha that is our and youtube member lcgm8 has been hospitalized. He's one tough guy calling me from ER 5 hours after getting hurt very bad. I'm sure he'd appreciate all the support and well wishing he gets because his recovery will be long and arduous.
