So I picked up an x cyclone out of the used bin that is pretty much mint. I'm finding it less forgiving than my lighter star leopard. I chose the x cause it was $5 and I wanted to get a taste of the cyclone before investing too much. This disc was showing my just how sloppy my form truly is. Discouraging and enlightening at the same time. I am taking my leopard out and just throwing the cyclone until I learn it, it schools me, or I become a better player from throwing it.

What I learned right off the bat.
I try to over power discs.
I have OAT issues, See above.
I can say f9ck really loudly.


Would it be worth while to get a nice domey esp cyclone to compare and maybe fill a more stable slot?

YES, get an ESP. They are much different than the X (in a good way)

ESP Cyclone - will it be a good S shot fwdriver?
X Cyclone - overlaps w/ my stalker
Dx Whippet - nothing does what it does better than it does it

2 Ranchos - 1 thrower, 1 beginning it's cycle
2 San Marinos 1 172 fresh, 1 180 slightly beat, lot's of overlap there.

Ridge - stable approach
Grip Pure - beat, effortless turn
Zero Pure - into the chains

stick with the cyclone for awhile. I started working on my backhand last summer with a gazelle. When I started I couldn't throw it much farther than my rocs. It helped me learn much better form, and I can throw all of my discs better now.

also, I love ontario rocs. Never tried a sannie, so I don't know if it'll be much different for you. But might be worth a look.

I've kept the core of my bag the same for a while now and I'm very happy with what I have working for me.
275ft putters, 300ft rocs, 330ft drivers, and I'm pushing that out, working on my form.

Stalker Out, Q-PLS in. UPGRADE!!!!

QOLS is nothing special to me. At my power level, it turns consistently, but not anymore than my beat SOLF or QOLF. It has more glide for sure, but just seems like a tweener disc to me. Good at some stuff but not great at anything, at least for my style and power. The stamp is awesome, the flight is forgettable.

-I'm about to add a medium for putting

If Latitude 64 would make a firmer putter that didn't warp on contact, I'd still putt with pures, but they are just too freaking soft. Great in the winter, but now that it's in the 90's, they turn into gummy putters that warp too easily.
