Weight back is fine because for this throw one needs to throw up (barf) in about 30-35 degree angle. That's why the left knee not straightening out isn't as bad as with a low line drive. What ain't that helpful is picking up the left leg too early.
X step placement is very funky though and robbing leg and hip power but if one has the arm one can reach that hole in that wind. As an approach shot with eyes on the target all the time that isn't so dangerous but as a regular throw -ugh.
